The pen ball holder is a writing aid that provides an extra large surface grip for writing utensils. The tool gently rests on the palm and the resting finger curl position secures it in place, requiring minimal effort and wrist movement to write and draw.

The pen slot is 12mm or 0.47″ in diameter and can accommodate writing utensils as large as sharpie markers.

This aid is designed to pick up tiny objects, like tablets. While a number of telescoping “grabbers” existed on the market (claws, adhesive, magnetic), none were specialized to pick up tiny items with the geometry of prescription medicine.

Note: The grabber’s head was printed with NinjaFlex and the connector part was printed with ABS, though PLA should work.

An existing tool for the telescoping handle was used. It was less than $15 from Amazon. The model used was a TEKTON 7605 8-lb. Telescoping Magnetic Pickup Tool.

This is a simple holder that can be screwed into a coat rack and allows the user to insert a cane on it. While most canes have wrist lanyards or other ways to hang/store the canes, they tend to flop out into the room or become a tripping hazard. This device keeps the cane securely tucked away.

Pictured are how the cane holder can be used on a coat rack (next to commercially available coat hooks).

The edges are round to avoid injury if someone is feeling for the cane.

Fits most cane designs; otherwise, it can be modified/printed bigger.
